Minor vs. Certificate

APUS offers a wide variety of certificate programs and minors. Because it is important for students to develop an understanding of multiple academic disciplines, you may pursue a minor in addition to your major (if you are enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree). Certificate programs can be added to associate, bachelor’s, and master’s programs, or they are available to be taken as stand-alone programs to students who seek a shorter program focused on career development or knowledge of a specific discipline.
